Who are we?
Alium Medical Ltd is the organisation who collects personal data from you and in turn makes us a Data Controller. Alium Medical Ltd will use your data to help find the relevant pharmaceutical product/s for you, your establishment or for your patient/s which in turn makes us also a data processor.

With regards to why we collect the data and what we do with it, is we will use your data to find out your requirements and if you are interested in unlicensed medicines and or clinical trial medicine/s, we will find your requirements by our connection of suppliers. We do not make medicines ourselves.

If you are interested in obtaining unlicensed medicines or clinical trial products, we will use the details you have provided to us, so we can process and service your order in house.

Disclosure

There may be occasions when Alium Medical Ltd are required to pass your personal data onto a third party in order to process your order.  Where the product ordered is manufactured by an approved UK ‘specials’ manufacturer, we are required to provide them with delivery information that is your address.

In all other circumstances Alium Medical Ltd will not pass on your personal data to any other third parties without first obtaining your consent.

 

Retention period

Alium Medical will normally keep information throughout the period of time that we do work for you, however, after this period has passed Alium will then strictly follow the retention periods that is set within the industry’s regulations.

In some cases (for example where we have your personal details for marketing related purposes) we may retain your information for longer period and we will advise you of this at the time by confirming this by email. Alium Medical will always provide you with the opportunity to opt out on all future correspondence such as email opt out.

When visitors arrive on www.aliummedical.com we use a third part service, which is google analytics, we use this to collect from you basic internet log information and information on your behavior patterns while you’re on the site. This information lets us know how many visitors come to the site and what pages they are looking at and the amount of time they spend on certain pages. The information collected cannot identify anyone and we ensure ourselves and google do not use this information to identify an individual of someone who has or is visiting our site. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this.
